I am so excited to find out you are singing again. I have your 3 earlier cassette tapes, but don’t have a cassette player to be able to listen to them on any more. I can’t wait to hear your new release. God has blessed me through your music.

Mary, your name is familiar to me, like a haunting memory on the fringe of the wall of my mind… My memory for faces is much better, so the words, “Don’t I know you?” happen often when I run into people. But the name Pennington sounds really familiar. Wish you had a picture by your name. LOL … that’s must be why they say, “a picture tells a thousand words.” Anyway, what church are you in? Where are you? I’d love to book a concert and come and have a cup of tea with you and make another memory. I responded to your email. I’m hoping we can talk soon. Thank you for writing!

Hi there, a friend just told me about your Lifeboat program and wondering if you are starting another one soon. I am interested! Please add me to your mailing list. I’d be honored. Peace, Libah

Thank you for expressing an interest in a lifeboat. It’s a lot of fun to work together as a group. If you are interested, the next thing to do is send an email to lifeboat164@gmail.com and let the team know. They will then send you instructions for getting ready and all the pertinent information you will need. I’ll be looking for you on the conference line this sunday night. Join us for orientation and an overview of what is coming. Sally

  4. John & Shannon Haws

    Hi Sally,
My wife and I enjoy listening to your recordings on the playback # even though we are not a part of the Life Boat group you are sponsoring. Can you send me the dates when you make the recordings? Usually, I know that it’s just on Sundays, but it appears you made another yesterday. Is it because of the holiday?

    • Sally Atari

      Hi John and Shannon,
Are you asking when the next life boat is? When it is scheduled, the information will be posted at the top of the 12 Step Recovery page. And of course, you can send an email to lifeboat164@gmail.com letting the team know you want to be notified by email when the next life boat is PREPARING to launch as we have some work to do prior to launch. Thank you for your interest in the Lifeboat experience. It’s alot of fun! Blessing to you both. Sally A.

  5. Jo-Anna Sauriol

Hi Beautiful Sally who loves to praise the Lord !!!

I want to thank you for your 12 steps seminar you have done at the Washington Retreat. I am Jo-Anna who met you at the breakfast table and give you the small jar. I was richly blessed by your testimony and how courageous you are to have overcome addiction with Jesus’s faith and support. I must say that I am addicted. I am a person who is addicted and I know that I need something and I don’t know what, where and how to started? Maybe you can point me in the right direction. You can send me an email Sally, I would be happy to hear from you and have a conversation maybe at some point, okay. God bless you abundantly each new day Sally!

  6. HI,

I AM NOT SURE WHERE THIS IS THE PLACE I WRITE TO ATTEND THE LIFEBOAT. I HAVE SOME MORE QUESTIONS AND IF POSSIBLE GET THE LAYOUT AFTER BOOTCAMP.

I LIKE THE WAY THE 4TH STEP IS DONE!! BUT IF THERE IS MORE INFORMATION YOU CAN GIVE ME THAT’S GREAT. ALSO, DO I NEED A LIFEBOAT SPONSOR TO DO THE STEPS THE LIFEBOAT WAY? JUST ASKING. I WOULD PROBABLY USE A SPONSOR YOU RECOMMENDED. I TALKED TO YOU BEFORE SALLY AND AM NOW WILLING TO GO FORWARD AND GIVE UP THE CAFFEINE!

    PLEASE REPLY ASAP!

    BESSIE LEE or BESSIE

    • Sally Atari

Hi Bessie, to express interest in the next life boat, please send an email to lifeboat164@gmail.com
In that email, it’s important to let us know if you are asking to participate as a sponsor or as a protege as there is a place for both to learn. When a life boat is going to start, it is noted at the top of the 12 STEP page (date and time). At this time, there is no life boat until the new year. I’m delighted to hear that you are ready to surrender the caffeine. That’s been a hard one for me as well. And as a flip flopper, I have good weeks and bad. Write the email to lifeboat164@gmail.com and someone will get back to you in any case.
      A fellow trudger,
      Sally A. of NY

    • Sally Atari

Hey, I hope you get this… If you could leave an email address, I’d be happy to contact you and share some info on
any upcoming Life boat. At this time, nothing is scheduled. I may have one in September (in time for the holidays).
Do not wait for that. Get well NOW! See my next blog…. coming soon! Sally

  8. Shannon Smith

    Dear Sally:
I hope you don’t object to me contacting you this way. I’ve been a fan of your music since I was around sixteen or seventeen, and I just had to tell you how pleased I was to come across your website today. When I was a teenager, I used to belong to the Christian Record Foundation for the Blind, which was a Seventh-day Adventist organization that provided Christian reading materials in accessible formats to the blind and visually impaired. Every September, they would send out an issue of their so-called “Talking Magazine”, which contained a sampling of songs by a Christian artist. Well, the one I received in September of 1995 contained some songs from your first three albums. I was amazed and impressed by your music right from the start; I felt that God was reaching out to me through you, and filling every part of my being with the knowledge of His love and grace. I even sent you a fan letter a couple years later and got a wonderful response, although God knows I don’t expect you to remember that. 🙂 Anyhow, years went by as they always do, and although I searched for your music from time to time after I got internet access, I couldn’t find any sign of you. I looked both on Google and on iTunes, hoping to come across your music again, and I never found anything. Well, I attended a church service yesterday afternoon where the congregation sang Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing, and that made me think of your lovely version of that hymn. I kept walking around singing it all morning. 🙂 I felt prompted to search for you again, and lo and behold, there was your website–glory to God! I was so happy to read that you were well and using the twelve-step program to recover from your eating disorder. I can unfortunately relate to that; I’m ashamed to say that I have the same compulsive over-eating issue. Perhaps I ought to look into the twelve-step system myself.
Anyway, I would very much like to buy your three early recordings. I see that this is possible via Paypal, but I’m not sure if you ship to Canada. Also, I can click on “Songs to the King of Love” and “Hymns to Prepare the Heart” just fine, and they get added to my cart, but I can’t seem to click on “Where Morning Dawns”, which is my favourite. Nothing happens when I do. Perhaps that’s a screen reader issue as opposed to a website error though. I use speech technology to read my computer screen, and perhaps it’s not showing me something it ought to be. I don’t mean to be a bother; I just wanted to make sure the button to buy that album was actually working. I also felt compelled to write and tell you how happy I was to find your website.
Wishing you the love of God, the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, I am
    yours in Christ,
    Shannon

    • Sally Atari

      Shannon,
I’m delighted to hear from you and it’s a bit exciting to think we have walked many miles together through music and a shared love for
God. My son in law calls me a stalker with regard to my love for God. I just laugh. Anyone who does not KNOW the LORD and walk with him
would not understand our love and even devotion to God and cooperating with HIM to do HIS will through HIs strength and Power! Please feel
free to send me a check for what you want to Sally Atari @ P.O. Box 132, Amawalk, NY 10501 Canada is not a problem. Mail goes there too!
Thank you for writing. I’m blessed! Sally

  9. Hi Sally,

    Jeff Hunt! How are you?
I have retired with a major health issue, but can still sing. Our daughter is in CO finishing medical school. We will be moving her to the Philly/Cherry Hill, NJ area in early June. She will be working in the hospital in Cherry Hill.
That means I will be in the area for the weekend of the 3rd. I would love to do a concert while that close. Sunday, we will unload her and pick her up at the airport as she will be flying in from a wedding.
If you have a place you know that would welcome my ministry for a love offering and cd sales, I would love to talk with someone to see if we can get it on the calendar.
315-264-7215. That’s June 3 an hour before sundown/love offering and I might be able to sing for the worship service if the trip has no snags. We have two days to get from Co Springs to NJ. pulling a Uhaul. Praying for a tail wind.
    God bless and thanks
    jh

Hi Jeff, I moved back to NY a year ago, my home state, so I no longer am in NJ. I believe the contact I shared with you in S.Jersey is still a good one. Call that Pastor (Mike Gill) and see if he would like to host you again. If not, He will have lots of names for your. My phone is still the same so text if you need his number. I just saw this. I’m sorry if I’m missed the boat. God bless you, Jeff. Your sister, Sally
